Week 5: How Was Your Break???

Making it to Fall Break was relieving but that didn't mean your favorite composting team stopped dreaming up solutions for ND's campus!

Monika showed a lot of initiative in developing a spreadsheet to organize peer institution outreach. The hope was to get a more focused perspective on establishing compost systems on college campuses, while learning about the different practices and facilities involved.

The grunt work was divided among the compost teams and included reaching out to schools like Ohio University, Maine, Northern Arizona, and Iowa State. Already, we are hearing back about the different uses of compost and these schools' capacity. We are still waiting to hear back though, so stay tuned for the results!!!
